With the closure of the OoB Clip Re-poll, we are ready to announce the results. If you are unfamiliar with any clip terminology used in this post, please watch [this video](<https://youtu.be/wk3BNL8izNk>) before reading on.

**We received 145 responses!** Thank you all for your time. Most questions had a clear consensus, but some of them had pretty close results. Here's what you all voted for:

# Results in a nutshell

As of this post, the following rules apply:

- Untagged wall clips, trigger skips, misclips, tight space clips and arch clips are **officially allowed in every category that permits them.**
- Limbo upwarps, lag clips and the universal clip are **banned in every category.** We will be retroactively rejecting runs that use these clips.
- If any of these clips are patched in future updates, they will be banned and runs using them will be removed.
- From now on, your game must be **capped at 240 FPS.** This is to prevent the use of tech that requires absurdly high framerates—speedrun tech should not be restricted to high-end PCs. Unlike the banned clips mentioned beforehand, this rule will not be retroactively applied. We will be giving a **3-day grace period** for this rule.

## Untagged Wall Clips

Should untagged wall clips be **banned?**

- Yes - 13.1%
- **No - 85.5%**
- Not sure - 1.4%

If untagged walls were to be banned, they would be *banned in P%*. Out of 22 'Yes' responses, 90.9% selected this option.

## Trigger Skips

Should trigger skips be **banned?**

- Yes - 31.7%
- **No - 61.4%**
- Not sure - 6.9%

If trigger skips were to be banned, they would be *banned in Inbounds*. Out of 50 'Yes' responses, 86% selected this option.

Should misclips be **banned?**

- Yes - 21.4%
- **No - 64.8%**
- Not sure - 13.8%

If misclips were to be banned, they would be *banned in every category*. Out of 36 'Yes' responses, Any% had 77.8%, P% had 86.1%, and NoMo had 66.7%.

Should tight space clips be **banned?**

- Yes - 17.9%
- **No - 80%**
- Not sure - 2.1%

If tight space clips were to be banned, they would be *banned in Inbounds*. Out of 28 'Yes' responses, 89.3% selected this option.

- **No - 66.9%**
- Not sure - 11%

If arch clips were to be banned, they would be *banned in every category*. Out of 37 'Yes' responses, Any% and P% had 81.1%, and NoMo had 62.2%.

Should Limbo upwarp clips be **banned?**

- No - 37.2%
- Not sure - 10.3%

If Limbo upwarp clips were to be banned, they would be *banned in every category*. Out of 75 'Yes' responses, Any% had 97.3%, P% had 94.7%, and NoMo had 98.7%.
