I can't think of a game that specifies SS in the category title. For example, I'm pretty sure I remember Dime or Crate saying that Doom speedruns are only accepted if they're SS, but the leaderboards just say "UV Speed". There's also the list of "glitchless" categories that ban s&q (without specifying it in the category name) that I gave you on twitter. It wouldn't be a big deal to add two more letters, but it seems pretty unnecessary.
Bigger picture though, the category used to have a name that was specific and covered the ruleset (Any% No OoB/YBA/S&Q), but people said it was too long. Now the category has a shorter, easier-to-say name (with the rules specified in the rules section) and you want to make it longer and more specific. You kinda have to go with one or the other.
