I’m super new to this absolutely stellar game, how do y’all tilt the kart on turns?

So, I am about to submit a 56.73 run that I did on the Atari, which would mean that four of us have tied that time all using an Atari {and no one has gotten higher with that system}. I'm starting to wonder if that's as fast as you can do it on Atari. I wish there's some way to figure that out like they did with dragster.

Does this even count as a speedrun? Lol, I feel like that's more of like a high score leaderboard. The 1,000 and 5,000 ones make sense (and I'm working on a 1,000 right now.). I'm not saying we should get rid of it, since some people seem to enjoy it, but I just wanted to make sure I actually had it right that it's point based.
