i thought about doing that, but that implies you always gotta do three. cascade for instance will need 1 for 1.2 and 1.1 but need 2 if you go for skip in 1.0. simpler to do one at a time and you don't have to remember 3 moon locations by name and route them all in a brief time period.

The goal of the category is get to the credits(any%), but any moons needed to make the odyssey go places is determined by talkatoo. There's just a bunch of random conditions that happen where you are "i don't know the ruling on this" so I made stuff to cover those conditions. Basically just things that came up in my run.

P.S. If the moon requires story progression under normal conditions it is the player's choice whether or not they will do any skips possible to skip that progression and go straight to the moon specified by talkatoo.

Any extra moons you need to get to progress are determined by talkatoo.

You must get the moon talkatoo gives you (unless it is a planting moon) before talking to talkatoo for the next moon to get.

If you get an extra unnecessary moon, you must talk to talkatoo to get a replacement moon (i.e. get more moons than needed to progress. my run does this a lot).

If talkatoo gives you a moon not possible without story progression, progress the story to that point and get that moon.

If you didn't read/can't read the text (wrong language) talk to talkatoo again and actually read it that time.

If talkatoo doesn't exist yet, do the minimum amount of moon gathering to unlock him and then moons will be determined by him (see bowser kingdom for example of this).

If you get a seed moon, you can get a new moon from talkatoo as soon as you plant the seed.

Timing is normal any% timing.
