Yes, flowtimer has global keys, so you can just run it in the background and possibly have a emulator key binded to the global key as well, like select, also yes, that's allowed, I also recommend using a bios if not already
True, I agree, also for ruleset I think it could be avoiding S+Q before picking up starter, and before wild encounters as well, and probably a few other changes ig
There actually already have been quite some manipless runs for this game before, so a sub category would be interesting
Tbf the softlock category could be more viable if there's atleast some glitch to add up to it to make it faster, since for a speedrun, youd need it to be as fast as possible to beat the game/set category this rather seems more like Beat norman% which too is a little fair enough, but yeah if there's anything else to this run it would be more interesting
