thanks. i was thinking doing it this way too. but i think you linked wrong video as the main one.
Can you do the verifying formality from here? i'll post links to the video. because i want it to be verified instantly, after my submission. i'm thinking like in 5 minutes time. this is because when submission is not verified instantly it wont appear on the front page. it appears this is a bug in the website software.

But the thing is internet speed, and I have original, long, video in low quality. 360p. I assume is good enough to be verified. Instead, I have edited version in nice 720p.
Its not edited to-the-frame, as my intention was to preserve watchability. I left small amount of transitions between matches.
I know i can post link to it in the text of the description, of the submission. But i want edited version to appear as the video link instead. Yeah. i hope im not too serious about it :)
In regard to what both of you said. I say, let PAL50 runs be accepted and in case of dispute, downgrade PAL50 run. Which is unlikely anyway, as there arent many runs and issue is prolly in PAL60 favor. In addition, runner could add in the description that submited run is as such. Other thing is that old signals (like PAL) automatically will have videos quality downgraded, due to interlace thing in the analogue signal and others. Personally, I would wish everything preserving quality every way possible. Not by high resolution alone, as i'm considering it different thing.
I have nice TTT2 True Tekken God Rank speed run. Its time is over 3 hours. I have original video but i created edited version of it with loading screens removed.
My question is: if it's ok to submit both videos, original video for verification and Uptime Cut version for leaderboards? Uptime Cut shown on the leaderboards with the link to original in description instead (YouTube links).
i guess its not that important. i just wish it would have been the same as in Tekken 5 DR, it has no difficulty or round count split. these 2 things are just as a property not as a category there and just visible as setting that was used. i dont know if priority is to make as less as possible sub-categories for the game. maybe other way is better (more sub-categories).
rules are rules, but my opinion is that if some in-game setting can be used to make speedrun faster then it shouldnt be automatically disallowed. i get it that guard damage is not allowed, but for example, it might have turn out either way, that it can make speedrun faster or slower, after multiple tries by someone. your opinion seems to be to disallow non standard settings that game has, mine would be the other way. but still, it seems that youre know what youre taking about and have more experience with this.
about subcategories in Tekken 5 Tekken Lord speedrun. splitting into subruns by round number and by difficulty seems to be pointless. for speed all runs are going to be 1 round and difficulty can be changed during gameplay (to manipulate AI). requesting to possibly remove subcategories there.
