as much as i am happy to see that the category as been added, technically, you NEED to found the secret exit in the ghost house of the jungle iirc, hence why i though for a while about doing a all castles run instead?! if i'm right, the easiest way to resolve this would be to add an ¤ to the categorie name and state in the rules that it is the only "secret exit" allowed since mandatory... but then again, if i'm wrong, i would like someone to simply tell me how to get pass it w/o using the secret exit cuz i don't remember it being possible!!

On another note, there seems to be 2 type of IGT, at least in the HD version, the Total Time given at the end of the game, and the File Play Time... So which are we considering when submitting our run?! personnaly i would go with the Play Time from the File, since i think its how its done for the other version of the game, right?!

also, in stage 3, since the physics in the WiiU HD version use GC2 engine, the shortcut no longer works... here's a short vidoe showcasing it:

I feel like i should regroup Normal, Hard and Nghtmare Difficulty on the same leaderboards and leave Easy separate, while assigning values for the difficulty setting to distinguish the runs and call those "Regular" or "Full Game" VS "Easy mode" which doesn't features the last area: Lunar Ultimatum...

But at the same time, each difficulty setting present a unique challenge and maybe i should leave the categories as i've set them, even if there's so many currently?

For now i will set hard and nightmare difficulties as miscellaneous, simply to improve the presentation...

The Mario Kart 8 Leaderboards ranking and the users ranking on their profile page doesn't not match... also, i never received any notification when my last run was verified... its nothing major, but its the only game that seems to have this problem so far... ;D

hi, i just want to adresse something that has no importance what so ever, but i feel the need to correct something... i used the word LIGIT in capital letters while it should have been GLITCHLESS... if i had express myself correctly i probably wouldn't have bother anyone with my opinion... and what i meant was simply that even tho i perform glitches and oob myself, i just happen to also enjoy whatching and performing games without them, and, well, maybe i'm not the only one... i didn't meant to offend anyone nor start a war simply because i believe that noobs should be encourage, since the more people join the community, the more strats we'll find... anyway guys, this is not the place to debate this topic, and therefore, i will only take part on forums when i feel its absolutly necessary and welcomed,... now, tx for your patience and understanding!! ;D

i admit that i might be over-zealous i_o_l, but even tho they are very similar, you recognize that there's some differences between the 1st and 2nd quest, like some platforms being smaller, enemies being replace and therefore abscent in some locations... it may not change the run by much, but those little changes impact the run in the end...

i understand and agree for the most part Ihavenoname248, but, well, i will never agree that a LIGIT run is not interesting,... and even tho defining which glitches are allowed and which glitches deserve a categorie of their own, is arbitrary and tedious, its not an impossible task and it improved the overall experience for all the community surrounding a game...

Now, my main point i want to put the emphasis on was simply that i think we should not exclude new speedrunners nor intimidate them with restrictive leaderboards that don't represent how most people play and run the games...

Speedrunning is not "just" about reaching the credit as fast as possible,... before everything else it should be about how good, how skillful you can get at a game and how fast you can beat it, and not "just" how good you are at performing glitches and do anything but being skillful at the game... and don't get me wrong here, i don't mean exploting glitches is not awesome and ligit... most of the time it take as much if not more skills, and one lead to the other, but those are 2 entier different things, 2 different sets of skills and... i just think that BOTH are important and should be considered for EVERY games... ;D

so, i've submit a run for a game that has no runs, no rules,... no love, no nothing... and my run have been rejected, by someone that doesn't even run the game as far as i can tell nor any other in the series, and the reason was, and i quote: «at least make it non-segmented»... ok, i'm not angry, but i have to admit that i'm a little bit dissapointed, i mean, the run is 4 and a half hour long, so i did the best i could to record it,... anyway,... i just thought that if only for educationnal purposes, that run could have been interesting for the news players, to give them an idea... and i just wanted to take a sec here to also say that i feel like leaderboards in general should be more inclusive and inviting for noobs, like more glitchless and "easier" difficulty settings... like metroid prime glithless or doom on something else than ultra-violence would be quite interesting i think... and once again the "submit/request categorie" option would resolves a huge amount of users problem regarding the site, imho!! ;D

tx kirkq, i had send him a message on youtube as well, but he might had miss both of them, and i was just a bit too enthusiastic about it as always!! ;D maybe, when we submit run, if we could "suggest a categorie" i feel like it would resolve a lot users problems at once!! ;D

hi, i don't know if this is the right tread, nor if this has already been suggested, but i would really like to see a "submit categorie" alongside the "submit a run" option... or simply integreted to the submit run form, the ability to suggest a categorie for an existing game... For exemple, you want to submit a run for SMB and the set categories does not include yours, (which in my case is 2nd quest any% nor warpless, or even 100% which will include both quest back to back) well i think you should be able to submit a run, and in the run type field, there sould be a "New Categorie" option, which, once selected, open a new text box that let you name a new run type, to suggest this categorie to the mods, without having to contact them in private messages...

hi, i contacted the mod for Turtle Tale a week ago, and he finally verified my run, but he has not yet added 2 leaderboard categories as i requested... maybe i'm a little bit impatient, but since it take like 5 mins to do, and since he verified a second run since, i feel like he's just ignoring my request for no reason... what should i do?!

hi, i just became a mod for Castlevania The Adventure Rebirth, but i can't seems to found a way to add new categories nor to submit any runs because of that... When i click on add new categories, it does nothing, the text only dessapear, what am i not getting?! i'm sure it's simple, right?! please help me, thank you!!
