I recently cleared out old split and layout files from my LiveSplit and tried doing a run when I realized the timer wasn't saving the split times, every time I'd split it'd act as if I'm skipping to the next split and leave the split time blank. I'm positive I'm splitting and not skipping, but the timer doesn't agree apparently lol. Any help? ;-;

I would assume the door fade animation could be tied to an autosplitter, no? :0 Like, it autosplits the first frame of the door fade animation which would correspond to the first frame of opening the door.

Not autosplits, unfortunately </3 Just regular splitting!!

It's not an autosplitter, I just set up splits and used F to split at each door enter!! :p

I've been wondering this too! I think you're right, only slopes/stairs really seem to benefit from being jumped up/down with no difference on flat ground. Jumping could also help with difficult picture grabs potentially? The pic on the table in room 4 is finnicky for me to get, maybe well timed jumps could make it more consistent even if it's not a very significant use. Idk just thinking out loud :p

NOOOOOO OMG ;-; I started doing attempts earlier and haven't had this happen, but I can only assume too many button presses in a short time lagged the game so when you place the stairs at the same time as the lag spike, this just.. happens. The game processed the pic being placed but didn't have enough time to render the environment being placed down maybe!
