no i dont have any savestates so it definitely wasnt that

i havent been able to replicate it no matter what rom i use

i used nestopia with some super mario bros rom

was speedrunning super mario bros for the nes, after leaving the coin room in world 1 i tried jumping over 2 goombas but ended up dying to them, after dying i got sent to the next level which is world 1-2, then i decided to open obs studio and tried to replicate the glitch while recording, but havent been able to replicate the glitch yet.
