Ok wassup everyone, I'm here because I want to ask a question to the mods. What emulators are allowed? I have ran this game once with a time on the leaderboards so I'm not completely clueless but the emulator I use is nostalgia.nes on a Chromebook. So just wondering if emulators like nostalgia.nes are allowed? I mean, Nestopia and FCEUX are probably. Just wondering for the mods. Thanks! (I'm asking this because I don't see a rule on emulators.)

Hey everyone I just saw Pensrock_12's tournament today and thought why not I hold one so I'm starting one. Just for some info: Allowed platforms are NES and Emulator (NESClassic is ok, but this is just Classic SMB1, No All-Stars). And also, there is no registering so if you wanna participate in it just DM me here on SRC or on Discord and I will add you. If anyone wants to request a platform I'll happily add it. Alright so I requested a game a week ago and it still hasen't been accepted nor declined (no response). I know your supposed to be patient for your request but the thing is another time I requested a game and it only took 20 minutes until I got a response of it being accepted. So does this have to do with the holiday traffic of the site currently or what? Please let me know.

How come theirs even a set seed for each category, theirs no real seeds you can use it just depends what the game spawns for you.

is it allowed to speedrun on something like the XPOs rom hack that shows your pixel position instead of time? Im assuming no but I would like an answer.

@Jaypin88 I just did a run off camera of Hot Shot off camera and got a 2:06.620 run. Meaning it would be a wr, except for the fact that I lost so it dosen't count lol.

Ok, wassup everyone but I requested a game to SRC and it was approved. It's called Backyard Basketball 2007. It's apart of the Backyard Sports series. I hope people like you will like to run it. I think there should be a category called "Level 100". Basically, I have played this game long enough to know that you can level up all the way until Level 100, which is the max level. So there should be a category where you start all the way from Level 1 and then level up to Level 100 as fast as possible. Kinda like 100% as you would need to get to the final level as fast as possible.
