Is the section where soft lock occurs the last double battle of Aether Paradise? I'd like to try emulator, if possible

In the Desmume emulator, OpenGL 3.2 seems to run faster than softRasterizer. Is it allowed to play in this way?

In Heart Gold Soul Silver, most speedrunners avoid all random counters without sprays in the beginning. Did you calculate the movement?
