world peace ils did exist on the main boards but they were deleted, after a vote, due to inactivity.

The whole point of speedrunning is to go fast so why put a barrier by banning moon cave skip. An il of moon cave itself was going to be added to ce, but there were no valid runs and the person who submitted it did not respond when contacted.

If you want this as a category, submit this category idea using the form. The mods will consider its addition then.

The community came to a consensus to revamp the il leaderboard with updated timings and removing World Peace and 2 player ils. This vote was cast in the smo speedrunning discord. If you have any ils you want back on the leaderboard, please feel free to resubmit, remembering to account for the new timing.

None of the categories listed will be added because most of them are do x category but also y. That does not provide an interesting run that many people will run.

The current consensus with mods and people in the discord, min caps will probably be removed. This is not definite yet but it is extremely likely.

This is just a lot of coin grinding. If you want to play a category based off of coin grinding do Darker Side Dupes.

Hand cam is not required for leaderboard submissions but it is required for GWR submissions (on their website). The source of the web cam does not matter, but phones can work.
