real time attack is basically just what the name suggests: the time that passes IRL. So it doesnt matter if you have splits or a timer up for any game that uses RTA, since you can always get the time from the video length. in your case it would be 11:10, starting from the reset up to the last hit of the final boss :) gg
These leaderboards are for speedrunners that want to enjoy custom chapters or levels in a competitive environment.
Where can i find these custom levels?
You can find the custom levels on the PC version of Super Meat Boy, to the left of The Forest in the chapter select screen. Just make sure you have the newest patch of Super Meat Boy installed.
Which levels will be added?
Custom chapters/levels will be added to the leaderboards based on popularity/demand, and quality of the levels. So, if you want to get your prefered custom chapter/level on this board, record runs and get other people to join you. I will be adding chapters slowly, to prevent big amounts of categories that have little to no competition.
Good luck with the runs!
it will be based on community interest and quality of the level pack. So, if it's a well made chapter and a bunch of people show interest and/or do runs of it, it will be added eventually
I hate to bring up feelings again, but I have just found out that Jim passed away. I've asked around where he was, since i wanted to ask him some things. Shadax then linked me to this thread.
Firstly I am in shock an have tears in my eyes. He was a genuine person and a good friend. We played Smash Bros. Melee occasionally, talked in Skype and chatted in twitch streams.
I wanted to talk to him, because shortly after christmas Jim sent me a copy of Undertale, he probably saw it on my wishlist. He said i should play it because it's a great game. I was caught off guard by such a surprising gesture. I felt like giving back to him, but i felt like sending him a game in return would not be enough. So i took out an old picture of his cat he sent me and painted a black-and-white version of it on a small canvas.
The reason i wanted to talk to Jim was, because i wanted to ask him about his address, so i could send it as a surprise to him.
I'd like to think that he would've enjoyed it.
May you rest in peace, friend.
