Hello! I've started dabbling in speedrunning, focusing on one of my most favorite games, Bust-a-Move 2. I was doing some practicing on a Twitch stream and actually managed to beat a leaderboard time. I was hoping to submit the run, but I had a few questions.

  1. I goofed up triggering a split during the run. I assume this would only affect my splits and not my final time, but is this disqualifying in some way?

  2. There are several ports of this game across systems (N64, PSX, Saturn, DOS, Arcade), but the leaderboard seems to rank them all together. There are differences between the versions, notably with the AI; the Saturn version is widely considered to have the easiest AI while the PSX has the most difficult. The fastest run on the leaderboard is on the Saturn. I played on the Saturn, but since my time only beats a run on a different console, does it still count? Or does it only count if I beat a time on the same console?

  3. The video has a couple minutes of discussion before and after the run itself. Does that matter or should it be trimmed down? LiveSplit is clearly visible through the video and shows when the run starts and stops.

  4. If I submit this video and it gets rejected, is a reason typically given so I know what I did wrong?

Here's the video:
