There are certain spots in rooms where you can crouch and you won't get killed by rush/ambush. I only know a few spots but the one that I most commonly use is in the broken window room, to the left of the double doors is a plant and if you sit behind it you won't get killed.

Use the speed boost thing, run to the car while holding shift and then once you click on the car let go of shift, once the cutscene ends you will go super fast.

Pretty sure it's just server lag, everyone gets it and I don't think there's any way to fix it.

It's fixed, I made an error while editing the run it didn't save when I changed it to trios.
