Main game and demo categories with Any%, 100% subcategories would be good

An all achievements run may be a fun thing to add to the boards, it'd be super hard but an interesting run

Do you think we could have an IL leaderboard? The game is pretty much built for it and it would be interesting to see the community SOB

Learning this game looked very daunting, so to get my head around it I made a google sheet with all the achievements to help me figure out a route. Each one has it's description and there is also the route used in the wr with all the achievements in order. So if anyone's trying to learn the game hopefully this helps :)

nvm I ran this game too long ago, I think there's more levels in the post-jam version. Although I do think that a subcategory for each version would be better for the boards instead of separate categories, it's cleaner as they're both Any% runs.

Why was a category for the jam version added? iirc both perform exactly the same and there is no reason for a category split.

And I completely agree that the people who in most cases care quite a bit for the game, are very involved in the community, and are sometimes quite good at the game shouldn't be allowed to submit runs to it. Being good at the game is definitely due to the fact that they have secret moderator information and don't have proper verification for themselves, it would be ridiculous to suggest that it is because of all the time and effort they put in. Personally I think everyone would still spend lots of their time moderating boards for free if they were unable to run the game themselves.

Hi, I think you've mistakenly added Pico-8 as a platform, games made using the Pico-8 fantasy console are Pico-8 which you may have mistaken for Pico4?

Hey all! In the Pico-8 Speedrunning discord we've begun having a weekly comp for different Pico-8 games and seeing how much we can optimise them. Last week we did Dusk Child and brought the record down by 26 seconds and implemented a bunch of new strats. This week we'll be running Block Rush and seeing what we can do with that. Oh thanks! I think the general consensus among turtle, nerdish and I was to add milliseconds so I'll start retiming the runs.

At this point all of the fast times are within a second of each other so I think it would be good to add milliseconds to the leaderboard, at least for currently tied times.

That's surprising, it was only my first day playing the game lol, I'll probably do some more attempts in a few days and try for sub 2:30
