United States@Magmom The main reason we have it so that you start again from the main menu is so it's harder to splice runs. If someone gets their shit rocked and loses, it's easy for them to just cut out the part when they died and keep going. This method isn't perfect, but it's the best we've got.
Also, as listed above, the "dumb made-up rule" actually is listed on this site, you'd know that if you read them. Either follow the rules or get your run denied. It's as simple as that.
I'll say what ive said to everyone else who's suggested ideas for new categories. We'll consider adding them once we get more mods! Please check the most recent news post for more info on that :D

Yeah, cause there's a difference between something ending your run vs something that can be worked with. If you lose your weapon it's not the end of the world, but if you get a bug that causes your game to lose instantly, there's nothing you can do to fix it. it's just pure bad luck.
I hope eventually, but as of now, our main focus is getting more people to verify and moderate runs!
The issue is that you uploaded a run that started 50 minutes into the video. Cut up that part so it starts there. Dont include the other 50 minutes

If you start your run with any weapon, it's fine if it bugs out and doesn't spawn. It's unfair to penalize someone for a bug out of their control, so we wont take any of those runs down
Personally, Im gonna allow it, since its a bug that's out of your control, but id also bring it up w/ the dev in the Halfsword Discord and let them know of the issue
If youre able to move to the next fight, do it.
Could use a text source in OBS and just edit it manually! seen a few different people do that :D
