I found Regan and it supports controllers and looks like it is accepted for speedrun submissions :)

Is there a Sega emulator that supports controller?

Hello everyone! My name is Jacob! I am 32 years old and live in the states. I have been watching speedruns casually for about year now and am very interested. I was thinking SNES or Sega platformers to start with. Mainly have been wanting to try my hand at Sonic 2 for Sega. I know there are emulators you cannot use for submitting a run so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of what to look for? I tried Fusion but it doesnt seem to support controller :(

Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am happy to be here and hope to make friends :)

As far as having tips on the timer I would go with Live Split and watch the tutorial vid on youtube from CloakedYoshi (Simple search and it will be at the top)
