As a Mario Party fan, I was ecstatic to see Mario Party Superstars. The new Metroid game also looks super cool. Definitely going to try to get both of these games when I get a Switch.

We will not be adding categories for the following webgames, as they are either endless, score-based, or aren't actually games:

• SWAT - score-based arcade game
• Sheep Shot - endless game
• Diggity Dash - endless game
• Skylanders: Be Your Own Imaginator - not a game, just a character creator tool

So this game was ported to Nintendo Switch Online just over a week ago. Will a SwitchVC platform be added for this game?

https://www.speedrun.com/skylanders_swap_force/run/m35rj56y This is an IL run of the first level in Skylanders: Swap Force, my beloved childhood game that I've been frequently speedrunning since December 2019. At the time, the Wii categories were empty, save for two runs of the same IL. I was able to beat both by using the fastest character in the game. In August 2020, Kory Skip was discovered, skipping one enemy fight sequence in the level. Since then, I've improved the IL by 41 seconds with the use of this skip, more optimized movement, and faster enemy fights.

Hey there! So it seems that the Wii & Wii U versions of this game has a board game mode with many boards. Do you think a category for this could be created if someone speedran it?

Hi, so I randomly stumbled on this game and discovered that it has a port for the Nintendo DS. There doesn't seem to be a lot of game differences (aside from being able to switch characters with the touchscreen, different music, etc).

Do you think DS can be added as a platform to this game, and can you change the game name to Madagascar (GBA/DS)?

Hi. So I use an AVerMedia capture card to capture my footage on Wii. I have it set as a Video Capture Device on OBS, but one day, the audio stopped working. I tried unplugging and replugging it back in, and now the game footage doesn't show up.

(I also tried removing the VCD from the scene and putting back in. Nothing happened)

Can I have some help please?

I'm interested in speedrunning some GBA games that aren't on this site. Can anyone help me find a really good GBA emulator? I currently only have a (pretty bad) laptop, so I'd like to find an emulator that works really well with low-end devices. Any help?

I had this idea for a Discord bot that would basically post a message for every new submitted run in a game. I find that it would be very helpful, as it would be a way to instantly notify moderators on Discord, rather than refreshing speedrun.com every 5 minutes (which I was I do a lot lol).

Has anything like this been done before? Sorry if this is the wrong forum btw.

Hey, so I just got this game and I was thinking about running the ILs. After 100%'ing the non-bonus levels, SpongeBob gains the abilities of all the other characters. Am I allowed to use this version of SpongeBob on the ILs? Or do I have to use the regular SpongeBob?

Also, the game has a customizable difficulty setting? What difficulties are allowed?

Edit: Ok so apparently, the "Super SpongeBob" is only active in Bonus levels. But I'm still wondering what difficulty should be used.
