There is a lot of problems in making IL's for this game in-particular, because it's open-world. And there is a problem, that you can just unlock stuff that you were not supposed to early, like weapons, upgrades and skills. There also would be a problem with that you can cheat skills that you were not supposed to have at that point in time and it would be really hard to track "legit" from the cheated one.
You could say, that you can make a unique save for just IL's and if you don't use it — your run will not be allowed on the board, but for some reason, Ubi decided to put your Uplay ID into a savefile, so you can't share your saves with anyone. They fixed it in later installments of the series.
So, until there is mod that allows you to just enable and spawn on a mission (Like leaked debug-version from Xbox), there will be no IL's for this game.
It works by pausing the game repeatedly, which slows the game down and allows certain button presses to be registered for multiple frames in a row. The inputs are (X + + X), the last + X need to be really fast to advance one frame at a time.
Pause Buffer is mainly used in the first level Hangar to bypass a requirement of a gun. But why is the Pause Buffer useful? IF you get attacked by an enemy that can kill you and you perform a Pause Buffer on the frame you will die the game won't register you as dead!

Never runned the game on Master so I did not know it was a thing... Really wierd, maybe it was a bug with a savefile?
I would love to see All Outposts from first Outpost to the last with just AK. That would be sick!
It's a completely different game tho, it should be made it's own speedrun.com page. Glitches in the Remastered won't work in PC. Maybe there is a possibility that Battery Tour Skip would work. Someone should do a run of a PC version. I only have the route for first level Hangar for PC version
I found another thing that Caster can change, on The Bum Deal we need to kill Lance to store Wintergreen, but we can just store Wintergreen and continue mission like normal.

Then we just drive with the car at front of Phill's place to the end marker 3)So maybe it's actually faster to grab shotgun early, but i can't properly time it My results were: Early 9:26 Late 9:31 But there were large mistakes I did'nt do Shoting Range I am gonna delete the document, but please add some changes that i made
I don't know is it mistake or what, but in the 100% route by Caster in the Act 2, after Loan Shark dupe for whatever reason we go to a second island and do balloons 50,65,67,73. Can somebody explain this?
