I use google chrome as well and never encounter that problem, maybe try clearing cache? No idea if that would help, are you using incognito mode? Or do you have something that periodically deletes cookies?

A side note, Corvo7 has posted a video four days ago so he has in some way been active on youtube, I really urge you to contact him through the discussion tab, as I've been in the same boat as you have before and the youtube discussion tab isn't actually as bad as people say it is for contacting someone. Either contacting through the discussion tab/@Ing him through youtube gives a big ol' notification and I doubt he would have signed out/at least get on youtube to look at something. I have noticed Corvo7 also has a twitter that is linked through their youtube account as well.

Yeah I would agree no pausing the timer, just to plan your break at the best time at a specific point

Damn 36 hours? You would definitely have to have some type of break for that unless you got a bladder of steel, either it be during a period where there's an unskippable cutscene(s) (not sure if there even are any in Neverwinter) or it being a very specific amount of time at a specific point in the game
