ValhallaSo I did some quick testing of the both rare replay versions (the original and the retro version from jetpac refuelled) along with the website that was used for the runs that are currently up, the original one (on rare replay, I have yet to test on zx spectrum and I have no way of testing the dk64 version unless someone else is able to) came out to 5.974 seconds for the fuel pack to drop from the top of the screen down into the ship, the retro version from jetpac refuelled came out to 2.804 seconds, and the website knockoff one came out to 1.433 seconds.
Hmm it actually appears that the fuel packs drop slightly faster in dk64 than they do in the original/Xbox one.. I'm on mobile and can't really test it at the moment, it definitely wouldn't be out of the question submitting it from dk64 but it'd need its own section lol
I 100% needed notes for monster hunter on my all key quests run lol things like where the monster will limp to/fly away to, where they even lurk and generally how many hits they take before cap/kill

Hey there! Technically this game was released on the XBL Arcade as well as the PlayStation Network, but it would make more sense to have xbox 360 and ps3 as options since XBLA and PSN are both on the last gen consoles obviously so I'll add them right in

Firstly, jetpac wasn't released on pc and all the runs done are from some website and had been put it in the resources http://www.classicgamesarcade.com/game/21663/jetpac-spectrum-game.html . Anyone that looks up original gameplay for this game or even watches it from rare replay can tell that this version or imitation whatever it is isn't accurate to the actual game (most notably the fuel packs fall stupidly fast in this version compared to the original game) and so far all I've gotten from the mods about this is "k" and "pc runs should be fine" after bringing it up https://www.speedrun.com/JetPac/thread/s3hfd Even before I had brought it up system separation was already talked about before https://www.speedrun.com/JetPac/thread/8vjdv except in this thread one of the mods decided that the game on console is invalid simply because their website they use to run the game plays differently, and also seems to some extent because of ignorance in making subcategories. I'd like to add that this game is on zx spectrum which is a selectable console on speedrun.com although it's entirely possible that it was added later on after grape's comment about it not being a selectable console on speedrun.com.

I understand that virtually no one runs this game (and I don't have a run on it either) but not board should be subject to immaturity and ignorance like jetpac has.

some games are lenient on what kind of proof is needed to verify a run, not so much laziness as it is giving leeway to people that aren't able to actually record, but when it's like a top run or something that sounds more like a problem
Well, I didn't notice in the other thread one of the mods ruled console runs as invalid because of slower drops (which is how it's supposed to be lol) compared to whatever they've run jetpac on
I hope you guys realize also that whatever site you're using for your runs isn't accurate like at all to the original and that the emulated xbox version is more like the original
If you really really wanna be able to split and do all that during a run but don't have the ability to split you could always look into getting a foot pedal for splitting
are people just trolling at this point? the amount of requests that need the same response the last few days is staggering
