I actually managed to do it by calculate on how many frames past after the timer starts at 400 and at the axe using Bowser's patterns. I'm just messing up 4-2 and get 375 which means i turn my tas into any% non Glitchless.
I wonder what all of the super mario bros. speedrunners doing like practicing or goals on what they want to do. I'm asking this question because I'm going to break at speedrunning because of school (yes we have school on June and july in the Philippines).
Wow, I think I like to test out what Nestopia power was. Lolz. But it's my choice to choose what emulator I want to use and also I use FCEUX alot and I never notice some input lags, maybe some little. Well I'm still need to learn how to use it.
Well I already think that every emulator have input lags (I saw a problem because I said none in probably none) But why everyone are using Nestopia in another reason? Maybe I'm blind about that.
When I'm searching through the community I kind saw that FCEUX have horrible Input lags whic is pretty much bad at speedrunning the game if you're doing a sub 5. Is it really have a bad Input lag and What emulator that has no input lag (probably none because flat screen have input lag too). Probably not bad because blubbler [or i_o_l] got a wr using FCEUX.
Well I finish the tas in like 3 days or 4 days ago (I don't remember). I kind of time it manually and the result was 5:06.59 I don't know what was the exact time because I made a mistake that I created the tas in Super Mario Bros. + Duck hunt + World Class rom. But anyways I thought you're not quite new to speedrun this game well I'm quite new too you know. I also have a problem about speedrun.com were when the notification s never come so it's hard time to reply and also, "Timezones".
Lol. I always clicking it but it always go to my Profile. But I already Delete it by myself. Anyways I figured out how to convert Fm2 to Avi by just recording it on my screen recorder or The Fceux Record Avi Feature. Btw Thanks!
After the rule changes I think my 7:01 run that was still waiting to verify i think it's useless because I have no video proof. Can I actually just delete that run or i'm just waiting to see if it was rejected by the moderators.
Also how i'm gonna convert fm2 movie (because of the rule change) to avi or any kind of video format to upload it on youtube?
Well i can't provide you a download link yet but I can help you howto modify the .nes file.
- Download Lunar IPS. You just go to the smb resources and find Lunar IPS 2.Download the xpos rom hack .ips file which is also in the resources 3.Open Lunar IPS and select 'Apply IPS File' 4.Selct the Ips file you want(Xpos rom hack) and select The SMB1 nes file
- And You finished just import to your Powerpak or Everdrive if you have one or using the console or just open your emulator.
With darbian's .sav files or fpg practice .sav files it's only working on Powerpak (I think) so if you using FCEUX you actually need it to convert it into .fcs file.
And also you're going to do the fast 4-2 which is clipping to the block in the start of the level or 2 bump jump which is harder than the clip and also doing the fpg (flagpole glitch) on world 8-3

They say that because of pseudorandomness of bowser patterns or enemy patterns (ex. Bullet bill and hammer bros.) What they mean they mess up because there's lower chance of doing it like the old days andrewg always mess up on 4-2 or bullet bill.
Well if i got 5:30 i have my sub 6 run and if i have 6:30 i have my sub 7 run and so on and so on. Well i'm still waiting verify my 7:01 run

Yes and I actually use the 3 games in 1 pak (Super Mario Bros. + Duck Hunt + World Meet) but actually i sometimes use the smb usa version.
So if i go past the pipe and the room reset the piranha plant was now in the pipe legitimately. And i notice on smb1 all satr speedrunners just wait because the coder of the game notice that mistake or something.
I have a question in mind that i always question about 8-4 1st castle room about why the piranha plant that you will entering to go to room 2 always dissapear. I know Bismuth explain it on explaining in the "Smb speedrun explained" video but still i can't understand what he meant to that.
So can someone explain what really just happening in that scene.
