Okay, so the past few weeks, the SMG mods having been testing loads time with non disc channel loaders. We have come to the conclusion that Gecko does not change loads compared to just loading the disc from disc channel, however, the program called Neogamma does shorten loads, effectively modifying the disc. Unfortunately, the mods have decided that we are banning Neogamma, which means that Korean can not be played. Korean can not be loaded through Gecko, and you can not order a Korean Wii because it does not get through customs. We will be removing all Korean times on the leaderboard. Fortunately, not many runners use Korean, but this is a warning that if you are going to order a foreign copy, get the Japanese version. I will leave a link to a spreadsheet Yoshifan made about these loads if you are curious about some testing that was done. We apologize to the few runners that are using Korean, but we know you can beat your times with another version, so if you really want a more accurate time, you're welcome to run on a different version. Is there by chance a Sonic 06 discord server? I'm thinking of running the game, (either Sonic or Silver) and I'm wondering if there's a server where I can get help. If the skype group is still active, I would also be okay with that.

So, I am curious how many people would be open to a 1P and 2P split on the leaderboard. Not because one is better than the other, but so people can run both. As far as I'm aware, most people consider them separate, and wouldn't mind them having different leaderboards. If we were to split it, I think the way it would work is we'd go back to the original 5 categories, then make 1P and 2P sub categories.
