Welcome to the community, It's nice to see people getting inspired to speedrun games they love.

Minecraft has a speedrunning discord which is probably the best place to look for teammates. The discord sever will be found on the side bar where Guides, Forums and some other stuff is located.

It depends what the mods say. You should be able to flip it in an editing software or there might be an option in the recording software to make it inverted if you're recording it on a phone

You don't need splits, as long as you start and stop at the correct points, you'll be fine. Splits are arbitrary, the purpose of splits is to show you or the viewer how far ahead or behind you are.

Pretty much any popular switch game has a big speedrunning community so just play the game you'd enjoy the most to speedrun

Deltarune at the moment is the demo as only chapter 1 has came out.

You can have splits wherever you want. The only times it matters is when you start and end the timer you can have 0 extra splits or 100+ it doesn't matter the game or anything but most communities typically split at the same points.

To see the forums for any game on the site just go to the games page and on the left side of the screen there is a bar saying things like Full-game Leaderboard, Guides etc. These differ between games but there'll always be one for forums. Once you're in the forums located above will be a button saying New Thread and you can post something you want to talk about there. Some games also have their own speedrunning discord sunshine included if you want to post it there instead or if you just want to talk about other things to that games runners. These forums are just for more general things that doesn't necessarily correlate to any particular game.

When you're logged out, some of the more popular games have cool themes and background images however when you log in, they all disappear and you're left with the default settings. I looked at my profile and looked at changing themes but there isn't an option to and I don't know why this is. Am I just missing something or is there not an option at all.

I'm interested in speedrunning deltarune on the nintendo switch and I'm just curious if there are any pros or cons for running the game on the switch instead of PC or any other platform.
