Hi Lion and I'm terribly sorry that I didn't notice this until almost two years later. I've been debating about the addition of new platforms (i.e. PS4/5, Switch, etc.) for a good while now. As of today, I'm currently looking into the version differences and will be making a guide at some point for the best platforms with the most optimized runs.

I forgot to post it here, but I did post it on the Discord a few days ago and this was used in my WR run a few days ago. This is what I found to save time when I was doing practice a few months ago. I'm referring this as Lava Skip or Lava Monster Skip. You still have to go through the cutscene, but it will get you directly to the next level when done correctly like below:

(I highly recommend being very close to the edge before moving off after drawing the water.)

UPDATE (07/22/2021): A faster way to perform the skip has been discovered during my Derust run earlier today. It now saves more time than the earlier instance.

The easiest in my personal opinion is Max: The Curse of Brotherhood. It can be run in less than 100 minutes (Any% WR is 1:29:53)

I would agree. It would be a miscellaneous run.

Back in 2014, I broadcasted this game before everyone else did and then I got more people following my footstep which eventually got me to here. Now that it is a game on here, I will be speedrunning more than ever. I thank everyone for helping me get to this. You guys rock!
