Mednafen is a pretty good emulator, question is does it have input display? Because it's mandatory that you show inputs in the emulator itself atm. But i guess biggest problem for people using bizhawk/mednafen is, like clix said you are going to lose time as Psxjin runs the game faster. I do think people should have that option though because honestly Bizhawk isn't the easiest to get running.

Edit: maybe try a different BIOS for psxjin

The reason we don't have any series mods is because of drama that happened continuously, would be nice if maybe a role existed where a person could only interact and change stuff on the series forum

i pulled up the IGT in cheat engine and made an IGT script for Livesplit, i can 100% confirm it only affects countdown

so i've requested this before in the SRC Discord about a month ago but i guess the admin forgot to do it.

in the Resident Evil series we don't have any series mods so this means we can't clean up the forum threads or control what happens in the threads.

The glitch only effects the timer on countdown mode, your run is fine

1. to play new game you would have to either delete your save file or back up your save file on the cloud, that way it's "fresh" like you just purchased the game and are playing it for the first time.

2. Ex weapons are faster for all episodes other than i guess Claire 4 since you don't really need to shoot much.

3. no idea tbh, raid is dead for this game, you will have to test this one yourself.

4. i use default on PS4 but never tried the others, as PC is my main platform.

5. Japanese text makes no difference in the later RE games

6. i believe she's the same speed but either way it is optimal to switch characters at certain points in the episodes to avoid losing all stamina and having to evade.

7. costumes are literally cosmetic, they add no effects to the characters.

weird, whenever it's happened to me it's been mid run and the character would just spin in a circle, no idea why it would happen constantly, never heard of anyone having this problem. i'll ask around

i've had this happen randomly during a run once or twice but tabbing out of the game and back in solved it, i can confirm it isn't a version problem though does it happen constantly?

It's fine, my NG+ Casual PC WR has some desync. If a submitted run was suspiciously fast with desync then it may be a cause for concern.

Hold it right there, this argument is totally invalid and just outright stupid because whos to say the current inactive people won't return to the game in the future and still actually give a shit about the game and the leaderboard decisions?

It was never discussed before TWN was added to the boards in the first place, it was silently added in the hopes it would just be accepted without any form of backlash, spoiler alert, it wasn't. TWN AND JPN were split the same way TWN was originally added but with the addition of a forum post explaining why it was split.

That's your opinion, and a very narrow minded one at that. Believe it or not though people also share that same opinion about TWN and see it as a category that doesn't mean anything. The Split of the 2 regions was also in part to people not wanting to "compete" with TWN since it already has an unfair advantage to JPN runners.

If you use Dolphin and the IGT Autosplitter you can see how the IGT works, it does pause briefly on camera transitions so you won't be losing IGT from that.

These guys explained it well enough, but i will say @Bigaloe forget quickshots for now and focus on the route and menues, all of the bosses can be killed without quickshots and without any major differences in the fights.

did you try to change your bio2.exe name to bio2 v1.1 ?

Where did you get the script from? Also try to run Livesplit as administator, for whatever reason some people have to do that.
