SpainAmethyst Skyscraper is the only track from the Crystalline Conquest that doesn't have its own category. Why is that?
Not sure if others have noticed this yet, but pinch climbing being patched has resulted in odd behavior around walls such as not being able to clamber objects that are close to the wall anymore unless you are facing parallel to the wall (as opposed to looking straight at it) making climbing on doors such as for the act 5 GT skip or act 4 crimson screen skip much more annoying and making skips such as clipping around the act 7 boxes or clipping through the scaffolding in Mines more difficult.
There are exceptions for legless that allow for the use of locomotion only when it is absolutely required.
That was the flyer that spawns on the right. There is a kill barrier surrounding it that kills it usually a few seconds after it spawns and there is nothing you can do about it. If you had to stop because it died, then it would be impossible to spawn the waves in the other room, making sentry% an impossible challenge which is why there is an exception for that flyer.
Yeah now people will try to beat it. Hopefully will get some action in crimson.
Makes sense. Why have a crossbow only in but not have a rail gun only. There should be a category extension for each individual weapon.
I completed that run before this game even existed on speedrun.com, and any rules were established. Like you said, it does violate the current rules and has since been removed.

After, reading the previous two comments on this run, I decided that this run could be potentially sketchy so I decided to do a full scale investigation myself. The results were horrifying.
Yeah like how is he even clipping on screen? You can't even glitch walk or teleport on screen mode which everyone knows is the only way to glitch through something. Plus screen mode is bad so they shouldn't even be able to get a time under 14 minutes, and if they do, they probably used cheat engine.
But how did he that time to show up on that leaderboard you ask???? It's obvious he went through all 467 frames that contain an image of the time and photoshopped each pixel on his 1 by 1 to show 6:46 perfectly from every angle. You can easily tell this is the reason why he made his video only go up to 720p, because if it was higher quality, he would have to edit exponentially more pixels. Disgusting.
Plus you can see that he appears to 'sword dash' periodically, and I've been a professionally signed Golden Trophy Speedrunner on Google Cardboard since 2015, so I know a thing or two because I've seen a thing or two, but I have NEVER seen this before. It's way too obvious that he got a job at Rec Room Inc as chief executive so he could steal the game code for himself and manipulate it so that he made it seem like this 'sword dash' thing was real in the REAL game. He didn't even attempt to hide it, like seriously you could have at least tried (there are many tutorials on yt on how to do this).
Also, his coloring looks off, just like the pokemon card with 9000HP I traded my $800 Vintage Charizard Card for (He said it wasn't fake btw) . I took a screenshot of him looking at the scoreboard and then selected the yellow part of it and used today's sponsor, imagecolorpicker.com (which btw you get 20% off when using promo code 'Icee Is A Hacker Man'), to detect the exact color that it was. I did the same but on my game too, and the horrific results:
His color turned out to be: 211, 230, 6 Mine (Actual Game) was : 211, 230, 5
This is more than enough evidence to suggest that he used an emulator, which is obviously BANNED.
Next, on his UI, you can see that he has options to click buttons with what appears to be keyboard buttons. For example, on the top right of his screen, you see a watch icon and it says you can open it by clicking tab. After extensive research, I concluded that the only device capable of clicking the 'tab' button is a KEYBOARD. However, the rules of this category clearly state: "Anything goes, except using external software and anything that can’t be done on all platforms" Not only does this 'keyboard' violate the external software regulation, but it ALSO cannot be done on all platforms. Being the genius that I am, I also picked up on the fact that he was using a mouse (his beautiful smooth gameplay was too smooth to be a controller or vr) , which violates everything that the keyboard violates.
It's extremely obvious that this run was played by a hacker I don't see how this run was ever accepted in the first place. The fact that he tried to pull this off as a legit run is ATROCIOUS. This run is is sketchier than my dad when he said he was going out to buy milk. I suggest putting warning signs on this run so that people don't throw up from watching the most disrespectful run to the speedrunning community. In my opinion, this run deserves to be cancelled on twitter, and if you don't agree with me, you're wrong.
