Sorry for not replying here. The reason I rejected the ones with the wrong level showing is because people shouldn't have to click back to your collection on G+ (a site which I'm convinced nobody but you uses haha) to see the run. If someone is looking to compete, it should be easy to see the competition.

The reason we don't have the Mario Pack levels in the leaderboards are because they're paid content. My philosophy with this game is that because Roblox itself is free to play, there shouldn't be any category where you have to buy extra content to compete.

I retimed Rozeris's Level 6, and it's actually a 3.417. YouTube lets you press . and , to go frame by frame, and there were 14 frames he didn't count. I am updating the time on the leaderboard now.

I can definitely change those. If I remember correctly, I actually changed the level 1 time, not Serperio. When I'm off work today I'll probably go and change these out.

Could you point out the specific times where this is an issue? I have been wrapped up in work, so all I can really do is reject them and say to resubmit with an accurate timer.

I don't know exactly what your question is - in Any%, you're not allowed to skip anything using the level menu, as that is the domain of New Game+. Basically, you can't just hop back to the menu to skip any long segments in levels, because you must complete each level in its entirety. In NG+, you can use the level menu (on which every level is present because you've already beaten the game before) to skip slow parts of some levels, and the forced game close after hacker.

I'm the non-Super mod of ROBLOX: Speed Run 4 and the Super Mod, user Corvo7, does not do any moderation. If you review the accepted runs since I became a mod, he has done none of them. I want to appoint other mods who will legitimately help and get involved, but I can't because I'm not a super mod. I've tried to contact Corvo through Twitter (where I have talked to him before) but got no response. Can I become a Super Mod for Speed Run 4?

This game's speedrun relies on changing the Unity settings to make the game run faster. The rate of the character's super jump recharge was mistakenly tied to the framerate. This means if you run the game at lower and lower graphics settings, you can essentially spam jump boosts. In practice, this allows for very fast movement through the map, so much so that the player can go through walls or easily out of bounds.

If you'd like to start speedrunning this game, just go for it! It's not very competitive, and it's easy to play.

Fair enough. I would never actually take any action /against/ that, it's just that I play Speed Run 4/Reloaded with keyboard only, basically the opposite of a dual stick controller.

Hm, okay. I'll add it to the supported platforms, although to be fair, I can't imagine why you'd want to play SR4 competitively on any platform but PC, haha

I'm from the ROBLOX Speed Run Speedruns Discord server, and I wanted to let you know that we already have a channel dedicated to this game where we've been working out strats and doing some good runs. Given that this page seems like a placeholder with no content, I can't exactly merge what we've already done on to it. Found this while streaming today, only works since the update to the movement/geometry. Saves 1-2 seconds from my testing.
