That’s what I would assume, frankly Connah has been the only person who has done runs recently enough. The route is pretty unoptimized as is, so any improvement could help (even though you can lose 10 seconds+ from bad loading screen rng).

Not looking into the route too much, is there really a reasonable difference among games? Idk how the RNG manipulation seeds work and if they only work in one out of the two. Could it make N and Ghetsis faster? Thanks in advance
Yea, these leaderboards (cyber and src) are good almost measures of these taken down leaderboards on the game itself. It gives competition to small groups of people instead of like thousands.

Hiya, personally I can just use both. For dream alpine I used teams because that has a lot of terrible rng that can ruin this run. The teams are also very useful in dream and all events because it’s a lot safer because of the obvious no reset. The WiFi networks aren’t up and we’re separate from cyperscore so I think they should be allowed to give new players an easier shot. But, I’m not a mod so they have final say. Thanks -SonicSam
Oh yeah the mod thingy, as much as I’m very active in this community, I can’t really do too many runs until after summer cuz I’m away for 90% (but I could be in place of doing mod things) of it but after that I’m looking to do runs of all the games. This Mario and Sonic community has evolved so much in the last like 6 months and thats great to be able to have this for a seemingly small game.
Yeah i think that what he means. I saw him and the attempts were of 100m,100h, and 4x1 hence not the whole thing. It’s probably just the events where you actually do something instead of just sit around and fail the event for no time gain/loss really.

I’ve also wondered about the algorithms but that would be a lot of testing for a miscellaneous category. I’ll see what I could do for now, but alas I’m barely gonna be home for the summer.
Yeah I was thinking about that earlier today seeing SirKibble’s run of it. The only logical thing would probably just take down the runs I guess...(as much as that is weird and seemingly unnecessary). I’d love to start being able to run this again without the threat of unnecessary RNG. Or as a bad extra idea- use the ingame timers(?) I know there isn’t a timer for the baseball one but maybe this could work. Also it takes out the score calcs which maybe could be used to, as a far lesser extent as in the 2d Sonics, get the same time as someone if the other was playing better. Idk just suggestions, I hope these can be taken into consideration.
To be fair there isn’t a perpetual timer, going through the replay: so the mods would need to time it themselves or it’s basically the same thing as a picture.
Will you keep the pictures that already exist? Because it’d be hard to supply a video now that they’re done
