I saw and Inferno can be such a troll. You could have got it too.
So say you don't have the file for the game's SR logo. Is there a way to get the file from the site? I tried right click and open image in new tab, but it's the smaller image file.
Could that same method be used for other spots to also do other huge skips?
Can we able to type dates with the given format and not have it go to the present every time. What's the point of entering the time if we're forced to use the calendar? And it's incredibly tedious if a run is from 2008 and have to click all the way back there. Please can this be fixed to enter dates and press enter to set it.
Okay cool that actually sounds better for SC, SC II, and SC III I can do it. But the tower of lost souls ILs can probably go away. Instead moved to a sub category for the full game category. That way the runs done won't be totally gone. Soulcalibur V doesn't have ILs for anything so no issue there. However for SC VI there's the chronicles of souls ILs. I'd hate to get rid of those so talking on what should happen first. There's an idea I have that works well and it is to have an Arcade and Chronicle of Souls categories for ILs. So everyone gets to do both :)
Edit: Okay the games will have the levels be character ILs and go as fast as possible and the no ring outs is added stress. I thought it would be good in practice, but those rules just make it more annoying to run and cause more resets. That said tho the only rule kept is using default characters. Later games with custom or modified characters won't be allowed use normal characters. For SC IV I was thinking Story Mode and Extra Story Mode like SC II where you can pick different weapons and modify them.
I tried to make it work, but it's the fact there's empty spots and hard to make it so variables and sub categories don't clog it up. The only way I see it working is creating a page for each game to use as arcade IL extensions. But considering there's seven games that would be a pain. Even thought of google sheets maybe, but even then hard to do there. Unless anyone has an idea to set it up efficiently I'd be down for it. As it stands it's not feasible to do without having a cluttered board.

Hi, added a while back SoulEdge to the Soul series games when it shouldn't have been added since Soulblade on PS is a more available port. I'm thinking if people do find a difference between arcade and PS to just create a variable or category. That said tho I've brought up with people on a page for all the games and characters as a category extension to the series. One that would track the individual characters for arcade and to provide more fun for the community to race and optimize all the characters to the best time. So if SoulEdge game type can be changed to category extension I'd appreciate it.
Shouldn't the other categories be ILs and the main category be Any%? The others are clogging up the boards.
So I passed this idea to someone, but I figured I wanted to do so with everyone and thought of recently. Only because someone submitted a run for Arcade as Taki. When Inferno is the most optimal character to use while yes Arcade No Inferno is a category. I want to have a page for fans to run the characters they like and enjoy. I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on it.
How it'd be setup is it be called Soulcalibur Characters maybe? I don't know on a name we can probably vote on one. It's only going to be a level leaderboards page where levels are the characters. And the categories are the games so SC, SC II, SC III, etc with variables for those games.
So SC as an example will have One Round, Two Rounds, Three Rounds, SC II will have Standard and Extra, IV will have Normal and Hard, V will have Easy and Hard, and VI will have the difficulties it has now.
I think this can bring new life into the games and for everyone to optimize the characters and go for the best possible times for each one. Given how many games and characters there are there's plenty of runs to do and have fun doing so.
@ShikenNuggets okay I submitted a run for Killer Instinct 2.
Sounds good but it's virtually impossible for Xbox One and have to see what TheMadWasp thinks. For 360 it's doable because you can create and delete profiles with ease. With Xbox One you have to use an email and thus is not as viable. Probably call it 100% and with the objective to collect all achievements/trophies.

Can the difficulties only be for ILs be Lite and Insane since the ones in between aren't as big as Lite to Insane. Plus makes the boards look nicer to only have Lite, Insane, and Group.
I know KI series mod is a no go, but I just noticed there's no mod for Killer Instinct 2. Could I be a mod for it? I am already for KI, KI 2013, and KI Gold.
@ShikenNuggets Just because the KI games aren't as popular doesn't mean they don't need moderation. I have done work for Gears of War and Soulcalibur series so I am more than willing to do the same for KI. If anything with no other mods being there and one leaving it does need someone to look after it. What is it going to take to make it need moderation?
Can music games be removed from the site like Guitar Hero and Rockband? The only time difference that can happen is menus and even then it's very little. Songs have the same time and honestly how can you run them anyways. You're just playing songs not like you can make them go by faster.
