Yeah, glitchless should be a category. He did try to tell me how to do it, but I just can't do it. If we can get a visual and audio commentary guide for each level that would be awesome.
I don't know how but some world best times for missions are ridiculous like Trinity Infiltration in 56 seconds. How is this possible and what are they doing to get these insane times.
For HD it doesn't have Link, loading times may be different for weapon master, and apparently there is this European character balance thing that affects some characters and Ivy. Those are the only ones I can find, but yeah. Also welcome :)
Link is a noticeable difference because he's one of the best characters. Whereas HD has to use Cassandra or Nightmare.
Hi, guys new mod and mod of the series here. I have added Tales of Souls as a category. I hope you are still interested in running the game. As I don't have the game any help in timing rules and categories would be appreciated.

Calm down I'm on it and no need to double post within 2 minutes of the previous post. It could have been in the first one. Anyways I'm thinking of the rules changing to where there must be more than 10 players.
Runs should have the loading screen and starting mission. Just so in case there is a tie RTA can see which one is faster. Submitting them as IGT would work, just for future reference watching mine or Dave's is a good idea of how they should look. Also showing the IGT for a few seconds like 5.
It's a tricky situation considering full game and ILs use different timing methods. Basically I'm forced to pick one of them and since full game is the main category I went with real time. I wish ILs didn't need to have real time, but if you don't put real times then it won't show up. I know it's stupid, but that's just the way the site works.
I had set it to where RTA was used because at the time I didn't know IGT was after a mission was done. That's why I added it after looking up some runs and some people showing it after a run. I did a couple runs where it shows it, but I honestly get annoyed doing runs. So that's why I haven't been bothered to run any ILs again to improve and properly show IGT.
If you install to the harddrive it's actually faster and averages less than 20 seconds somewhere at like 15 seconds I think. Xbox One has faster load times which is why it's a sub category. For ILs it's not because we go by IGT not RTA.
For RTA it should start when you press A for the mission and have the loading screen.

Hi, I would like to be moderator for Soulcalibur III as the current mod is not active and has ignored the forum post to add other categories. The comments for the thread are from February and March 2017 and MSKain was last active according to their profile August 23 2017. I am aware some people can be busy, but he should have seen that given the time frame.
I am the mod for the series and strive to improve the game pages for the series. Not only aesthetically, but with the categories as well. Any feedback I put to use and improve when needed. People wanted Weapon Master 200% for Soulcalibur II and I added it. I don't like how their suggestion got ignored and probably detracted them from running the game. I hope that I can be a mod for it and add the categories so they can come back and more runners too.

One thing that annoys me to no end and is super counter intuitive is that when creating a variable you can't have it for multiple categories. Sure some games it isn't an issue, but if it's something that requires a list of variables such as fighting games. Then it's an issue for example my problem is with Soulcalibur V.
I would like to be able to have the list of characters as a variable for Arcade and Legendary Souls, but Story Mode uses Patroklos only. I can't exactly have this for all categories and it makes the page for variables ugly with two long lists of characters. My suggestion is to let us have a variable for multiple categories. Why it has not been implemented yet is beyond me. It would easily make behind the scenes pages less cluttered.
I apologize for being blunt, but it's something that needs to be addressed. And I'm not saying it needs priority over other issues. Just that it should be one of the many things that needs to be fixed.
