if someone else makes a thread with tons of research or something instead of something compiling community thoughts with minor checks, please feel free to pin it over this forum post, I'd love to see that happen.

Made this thread cuz noone else has anything like it (and still noone has), not coming from a place of expertise but more just a general compilation of community thoughts/knowldge built on what people have sent through this thread/DMs. The only stuff I can truly talk about/reccomend from experience are HDMI and 3DS capture cards. This thread should be a good place to start for most people looking into capture cards however imo instead of starting from nothing (as discussed somewhere around page 2, 3 years ago). I do think the disclaimer contains enough warnings for people as well.

so basically the GV-USB2 can be used to capture PSP footage as well (through S-Video)? lots of terms in there i'm not super farmiliar with in your post, but that's super neat, i definitely need to update this post to look nicer anyway, so I'll make sure to include that info if you end up confirming it.

8 race runs will now require aggressive items as we believe runs will be more interesting that way. Any runs done before 3/17/2024 (currently there are 2 submitted) will be grandfathered in despite this change as the times aren't particularly fast.
