this depends on the playstation. on playstation 3 you need an hdcp stripper (i personally use component so i sadly cant say which splitter you should get). on playstation 4 you can turn it off in the settings. and on playstation 5 i assume you can also turn it off.

there is a separate website the blindfolded community made to track runs. you could probably get inspiration from there. sadly i do not remember the url

they have no affiliation with the site so choose carefully who you trust

dolphin is to my knowledge the one and only wii emulator. i doubt any board allows the use of it (unless there is a misc category allowing people to compete against other emu runners)

yeah record it with what you can (id recommend OBS over bandicam but it doesnt matter) and upload the video to youtube. to submit run go to a games leaderboard and hit the "submit" button and fill in the form

you dont have to make a copy. if you want to make a new set of splits then edit the ones you currently have (or start from 0 by hitting "close splits") and after your splits are done hit "save splits as" and make sure the name isnt the same as some other split file

it existing doesnt mean its a good idea.
