can i submit a run using the switch emulator app thing?

What are the timing frames? Can I use RetroArch Mega Drive (Blastem) to emulate on Linux or nah?

i know it's slower, unoptimized, bad loading times, etc, but is it possible to do a run using a normal route/notes on the switch version or nah? i have a lite model if that affects anything
