I think this is a great idea. I went ahead and added a good ending category.
I don't see how this change is necessary. Everything you cited as a reason for the change I have adhered to.
Changing configurations on your emulator so that inputs can be entered faster is an unfair advantage. I do not feel that I need to clarify the rules further. I feel the rules are reasonably understandable as they are.
Zenic you are right. I changed the character to Penguin and my run shows up. For now I have changed the default character to Bat so that my run will show up by default. Is there a proper way to fix this issue? I have had this same issue when setting up variables for other games as well. I must be doing something wrong.

I am also confused by this. The run does not show up on the leaderboard page by default. To get it to show you need to select filter, character, and any. Can anyone show me why this happens? I think I am not formatting sub categories correctly.
I am planning on creating a Best Ending category once someone or myself does a full run... technically the any% category finishes the game but with an improper ending because the player does not receive enough points. Thank you for pointing this out I was worried that no one was aware of this.

Added. Thanks for contacting me on Twitter. I did not know that a non mod is unable to submit a run for someone else.
We do have a category for completing all 100 phases of the game. After 100 phases the game loops from the beginning. The category is called "single loop"
I am surprised this has still not been taken care of. You may want to bring this issue up with a site admin.
I feel the most accurate timing method for this game is to start the timer at player control. There is some confusion because the original submission had started their timer on reset. From here on please begin the timer when you gain control of the character after the green "Plaza Hotel" screen.
