Is there no way to make an auto splitter for this game to keep you from having to do this every run?

only run I was really interested in trying was the gaige any% and as my games fully up to date and the patchers broken not much point learning it.

Been doing that with no joy, can the game still be run without the downgrade or is it essential for the run?
