Your april fools joke made me realize something talking to reze that ORB would be a terrible thing for entertainment and that is the reason why the 96 TAS decided not to use ORB.

So i was thinking what if you would BAN Start Select and Intentional Deaths instead. What would this lead? Well basically an orb would be acquired in YI2 as Virusorb is superfree. This would orb DP2 an autoscroller. No harm done right? Just for the better imo The other orb would be Tubular. What would this lead us? Well the downside would be no GBK its the sadpart. What would the upside be? Well you can orb BB1 and thats another good thing imo.

Third orb could be aquired in CI1 not sure how technical it is to get and be used in Choco Secret or CI2, I don't know which is faster. If CI2 is faster then another terrible stage off 96 run where its slow and we have to actually slow down despite not being an autoscroller. Sure there are some tricks where you get pipefly etc.

Last and final orb would be acquired in CI5 to Orb Sunken Ghostship. Another stage that is free and very easy long and boring.

It's the Start Selecting out of stages walking back and forth for massive ORBs that would turn the category to a nightmare to watch(and play). But with a simple Start Select Intentional Death BAN we'd actually get to use ORB to skip terrible stages.
