You used the new Japanese character which changes the map generation slightly or that would be my guess.

I don’t know if it helps much but I find muscle memory is the only way to do it. Start by just spamming the screen and watch carefully slowly your tapping will form a pattern with the movement on the screen slowly getting more and more perfect.
