QuébecGonna survey this out a bit, for those who have tried speedrunning the game with different breeds, have you found there was any notable differences?
I always run with golden retrievers. I used to run with shibas. I got all my best runs with goldens and not shibas.
So yeah! I'm wondering if any of you had noticed differences. Or if you'd like to get on that :)
Things I'm wondering if they do a difference:
- Times for them to get used to you (avg number of pets, I found with goldens its around 4 if you manage to pet areas that generates blue flowers)
- Speed during the disc competition
- Disc catching capacities (How good are they at catching the thing)
- Speed during the lure competition
- Capacity to pick up speed in the lure competition (How easy is it for them to hit max speed)
I uploaded around 2 runs here, but I never really took the time to introduce myself, so I guess I'll do that!
I mainly speedrun Nintendogs + Cats (Golden Retriever & New Friends specifically) after looking up "Nintendogs speedrun" on a whim in a VC with a friend on a late night. I had been thinking about doing speedruns for a while, but it didn't click until I did those Nintendogs speedrun.
I plan on trying out various dog games/pet games speedruns (original Nintendogs, Dogz on GBA, etc...) and optimizing my Nintendogs + Cats run! There's a lot of improvement to be had!
Besides that, I like my cats, drawing, and I study in web development specializing in programming. And my favorite dog breed is the dalmatian :P
