Is the Speedrun mode pet of the ASG Striker Pack, and, if so, how do I unlock it?

I don't know if that's actually what it's called but it's when you use a potion/food while picking up a key item and skip the 'You obtained a thing' fanfare. Can someone please create a tutorial for this skip please?

Is there a consistent way of doing the potion drop glitch in the purple block room in the lost catacombs, while falling on the right hand side of the spikes?

I've been timing how much time it may save to do MF straight away and get Monkey Bullet with warp dance. From what I can tell, it loses about 40s in MF and saves about a minute on Main Street. Unfortunately, this does lose 24 gems as it skips 5 pots in Main Street and 3 can be picked up in Falls, so it just depends on whether more gems can be picked up in 20s. Can someone else please time these to verify.

If anyone has made an any% pirate mode TAS, can they please post the link here because I couldn't find one.

I'm trying to do a run where I don't collect any Pirate Gear by using the auto potion skip over and over again (which is very expensive by the way). However, I'm stuck at Squid Baron 2.0 as the scimitar is required. Is there any way to skip this fight or do I have to collect it?
