Thanks for responding! I've messed around quite a bit with the save game glitches you discovered, but I haven't quite gotten the negative score result. Very interesting stuff.

As for endless mining, it may or may not be related. The trick is, once the "winter is coming" message appears, go to load a game, do not save when prompted, then cancel loading. This will move the calendar one day ahead. This can be repeated until January, at which point the regular automatic process will continue until November is reached again. A very patient person could go on forever.

Sorry if none of this contributes to actual speedruns. I spent a lot of time focusing on scores because I'm really slow at clicking through menus.

Hey nice work on running this game. I had no idea anybody liked it as much as I do! But my question is how you got that negative "high score" shown at the end of your run. I've figured out how to make the mining go on forever but it's sort of tedious. So is it just such a high score that it caused a glitch or is something else going on there?
