French Southern Territories@Pear I can’t stress this enough: when I say “this is the funniest post I’ve ever seen” I truly, honestly, and genuinely mean that. I know it gets said a lot as a hyperbole or whatever but I’m being 100% serious. I laugh so hard I cry and I have to use my inhaler because I start to have an asthma attack every single fucking time and I’ve read this five times now. I have never in my life laughed as hard as I have reading this.
A good way to approach it might be like how the bugsnax devs did it. They found a few skips in their game, but left them in because a casual player probably wouldn't find them, and they could only be done by purposefully seeking out a way to skip the game. However, they patched out several skips that were often triggered accidentally to avoid ruining the casual playthrough.
@O.D.W the oldest thread on the site is unlocked right now, so it's not that. They're probably always 3 years old because this site didn't really get that popular until around that time I assume, so older posts don't get found that much because there aren't many.
@Lawliepop that's longer than I hoped, but I'm glad that they're making sure that everything works before releasing it. I wouldn't want another support hub-like disaster.
I'm surprised that someone from elo actually responded to this thread. Hopefully this becomes a common occurrence. I'm not really worried about the privacy stuff, I'm just curious if there is a time estimate for when the moderation tools that were promised in the last update will be available.
