Hey guys, I just wanted to share some information I found with people that it may benefit the most I'm not a speedrunner and I never have been, however I do like to try and complete games, and in Village there are several boss speedruns required for completion. So I loaded up a ng+ casual file to have tons of high powered weapons and ammo with lower health pool bosses to get them over with quickly, but as soon as I got to Mutated Dimitrescu, no matter how much damage I did I just couldn't kill the boss in under 2:30, and not even close (averages of 2:45) After an extensive amount of WTFs, and no information online, I came across something super atrange that speeds up the bossfight a huge amount regardless of difficulty or kit. I have a video in which I explain and showcase this which I'll link at the end, but I'll give a TL;DR for you guys here as well There is actually what appears to be a flag in the bossfight that has to be met before any damage actually does anything to the boss at all. Once you get to the main section of the tower, there are two archways that Dimitrescu is scripted to break down. What I've found is any and all damage REGARDLESS of power is completely ineffective against her until she has broken down both archways. Thus, that led me to find that the fastest way to kill this boss is to not shoot her at all and run away to get her to bust down the walls ASAP allowing damage to start registering.
