I'm okay to add whatever category but it's not fair to ask anyone to re-do any runs.

On top of it, this game had been released for 2 full years and there was no leaderboard, so I created one but very few people seem interested in running it and I'm thankful to those who already participated.

I've added @xDoovah and @Sappytron as Moderators, they are allowed to make modifications.

@Konyac Tell me or @xDoovah or @Sappytron which cups or which categories you'd like to run and we can add it with special rules too if you'd like. However for the fastest laps, rules won't change: Same rules as what the Xbox lets you upload on the in-game leaderboard: Just don't get a warning triangle for your time to be valid. If that makes sense too. And like @NICO123JGF said : can upgrade car, IGT timer is the one counts.

I made the categories this way as to be similar to other racing games where fastest laps are usually the main attraction.

If you look at FM7, no one played it as it seems to me like no one cares its Cup categories. People only ran the main 1 minute category, which is sad.

This format seems to be more appealing to me and other runners as well.

Since FM was reset with the new 2023 iteration, I thought it's a good idea to recenter focus on fastests laps as well.

I could add Cup Events of top of it too, but I'm personally against removing fastests laps categories.

To be noted, 2 years after its release, there was still no leaderboard for this game, so I decided to create one and change the format to make it more appealing, as it seemed to me that the old format wasn't appreciated by many people.

Solitaire is random. I have no shame admitting it took me probably about 50 attempts to try and beat it once and my seeds were never the same. It took me way longer than I thought it would. There's a ton of seeds. No idea how many though. But I'd say probably more than 100. That's what it seemed to me anyways.

FYI: As from 2/1/2025, TAS-compatible emulator (BizHawk, Emulicious, …) have to display the status bar to demonstrate that no movie is being played. Recommended emulators are RetroArch with GenesisPlusGX and FreezeSMS.

Texas is showing 24s 024ms but it's in fact 24s 240ms.

Kansas is showing 24s 024ms but it's in fact 24s 960ms.

@JoePulito I know a hard reset isn’t shown before this one but the run isn’t the most competitive. Personally, I’d accept it and put a note to show a reset if there’s an improvement later. Your decision though.
