Let me give my speech out. You obviously should know you can't beat the game without trying. And being unkind and just flat out hateful to many people (mainly experts) at the game who are trying to help you isn't going to make you beat the game at all. Just try out our suggestions. These methods could easily get you a decent time. With fire during my Both Quests PB for the category extensions page, I got 5:28. If you somehow seem to still be offended (which I don't know why you would be in the first place), well, tough luck kid because I don't think it's fair for these people who are trying to help you out and you just snapping back at them. Be reasonable. There have been at least 10 suggestions and by the look of how you've been on this thread you've either not tried hard enough or just aren't trying these suggestions out. I remember when I couldn't beat 8-1 at all and my PB is 5:07. If you can't seem to help us out at all with at least kind feedback then we should all just stop giving you suggestions and just leave you alone. :/
I got 7:14 in any% only 4 months after I tried the original out. And I was 11.
8-3 is possible to pass easily. I do it all the time. Just collect the powerups and there you go!
It's not that. The admins for this website say a month is the max amount of time a run should be waited. I submitted a run for DKJR on October 7, and it still hasn't been verified. There could be other runs the mods need to verify as well.

Yeah it could be done when being played on emu. L+R actually breaks the dpad.
@PiotrGrochowski Speedrunning is different than playing the game normally. What I meant by new to the game is by try to get used to the levels and the whole game in general. Speedrunning is when someone tries to beat the game quickly. So if you just got the game recently I wouldn't recommend to go all out and try to beat every level as fast as possible. Try to get as good at the game as being able to beat it once or twice every 10 - 15 minutes before speedrunning it. This could go for either any% or warpless.
Are you new to the game in general? If so then you definitely shouldn't be speedrunning this just yet.
1-2 small fire IS possible if you use pellsson rom (I think) but mods have rejected the idea of having ILs and IWs. It was a thing a little while ago, but now they're not a thing anymore.
No it isn't. 30 minutes isn't enough time to say that it is hard. Keep trying and soon enough you'll beat the game and get good at it. One time I was really bad at the game a few years back, my PB progression went from 7:14 to 5:07, I'm in the top 200. Look how good @somewes and @Kosmic and also @darbian are at the game. You could get a PB like theirs too if you really tried. Don't Give Up! :)
Hello, I've been playing Predator today, and I realized that if I precisely press left + right, I'll warp to the next level. Could this be a new category or if not would this be aloud for the "Beat The Game" category?
tbh I would recommend playing 11 Exit or All Castles before learning 0 exit. imo it's the most difficult category out of the bunch. Lot's of coding going on. But that's just what I think.
TAS probably starts when it selects one player instead of when it starts to play as Mario, since it's 2.5 - 2.7 seconds for each level to load (live count, stage title, etc.). The difference between 4:54.03 and 4:57.31 is 2.7 seconds apart. (I counted backwards. lol)
