Hey hey, question answered here https://www.speedrun.com/speedrunning/thread/6tgel
Also, @1
Alright you know we usually say "run games you know" So here's the other questions we usually ask What consoles do you own? What genre of games do you like? How long of a run is good to you?
Gonna start by recommending the predictable popular games. Basically all the 2D Mario games (But especially Yoshi's Island). GnG Series. Goof Troop. Some SMW romhacks also have SNES ports so those could be cool too.
Liam's 1:38:43 also still says WR. Go harass him too.
Is what allowed? Responding?
I'm massively generalizing, and censorship obviously isn't the only option. I'm not saying to just silence people, which is why the "talk to them" part was there. But I don't think people should have to read "You fucking suck, kys" whenever they scroll through the comments on one of my WRs. My general point stands. Vab is way overreacting to toxicity and communities are by and large able to handle it.
Vab, you are taking this WAY more seriously than you need to. Toxicity is way less prevalent in these communities than you think it is. This isn't Overwatch or Fortnite where the community is edgy 12 year olds with no maturity that think being flaming assholes is funny. This is a group of people (largely in their 20's & 30's from what I've seen) who are mature and enjoy dedicating time to being really good at retro games. And it's way easier to handle them than you're making it out to be. Delete comments, delete discord posts, talk to them. If they can't change, boot 'em. It's that simple. And check with your community to make sure everyone's doing ok.

I'm with Garsh. If Elo's changing the acceptance rules I don't care that much. I'm not gonna run it but if it means other borderline worthy games get in too I'm fine.
Also there's way more in here than there needs to be for a sticky
Anyway I'm sure if you DM one of the site mods (Maybe Star Smiley) and explain the situation and maybe prove you're actually 13 you should be fine
Site mods have to take that stuff seriously for legal reasons
- Be nice.
- Web site design is hard. The way it's set up right now, the rules are associated with the same page as the actual request form. So when you aren't logged in, you can't get to the form or the rules. Is it perfect? No. But it works 99% of the time and most people are fine with it.
