i dont know what youre talking about, i cant find this supposed run, i do think i had rejected a treehouse run that was already on the lb because it wasnt done correctly, and therefore couldnt be timed.

Hello! I'm Kaixvny/Kai., over the past few months the state of the leaderboards haven't been great, with a huggeee backlog of runs that we're unverified. I was added as a moderator yesterday night, as I had written a huge document with a proposed leaderboard overhaul a few months ago, sorry it took this long to finally enforce it!

What changed?

• I have gone through all 300+ runs currently on the leaderboard and have retimed them all to the new rules! So don't worry! Make sure to check your rejected runs as I have rejected quite a few for having invalid videos / not meeting new standards though.
• New rules set up for every category! Make sure to read them and get familiar!
• Combined Any% and any extra categories into subcategories. Now categories like City Obby Intended and City Obby Any% are as one.
• Moved Tagged, Tag, All Tagged, and Survival into Levels, they are listed under their respective map.
• Frame-timing system
• Split some categories into multiple leaderboards to make up for Caves Update.
• Will be moving Banned, Encounter a Swear, and Fake Ghost to our Category Extensions soon!

What now? Runs will be verified at a constant pace now, at least with me on the team. If you have a timing dispute or any questions about the new system DM me on here or on Discord for a faster response! (@everhood)

City Obby and City Obby Intended have been combined into one category with subcategories and have all been retimed

Basement Secret and Basement Intended have been combined into one category with subcategories and have all been retimed

All Targets have been retimed and seperated into New/Old Caves.

Will retime every other run when i wake up (and verify all your runs!), please check new rules for submitting runs.

@SioN While B3313's plot is mainly up to speculation, its said that the voice that narrates the entire rom hack is the experimental AI that personalizes every copy. The game is also based off the 1995 creepypasta build set to have been haunted with that personalization AI. The hack even has a variable that random changes depending on how you play, and changes stuff in the game after that variable.

But yea i understand why it might look dumb, honestly the part that the personalization was done by a experimental AI was kinda the semicool part about the sm64 take on it, and i feel it wouldve been better if it was a more exclusive explanation just for sm64 rumors and not for every other game (get your own explanation L)

but at the end of the day, its just a explanation for a bunch of people to get together and write cool stories, so /shrug

@SioN i personally think its not that bad, I usually don't like rumor creepy pasta stuff but something abt sm64 stuff is hella interesting. At first I thought like "wow that's a boring excuse to justify everything" but then I saw cool shit like the B3313 rom hack, a rom hack that ACTUALLY personalizes the game.
