I very recently started speedrunning SMB and I'm having a blast, starting to learn the basics and can do 4-2 wrong warp fairly consistently now. However I just can't get to grips with pipe jumps and feel like I've got nothing I'm really aiming for other than just launching Mario towards the pipe and hoping for the best.

Does anyone have any helpful tips for this for a new speedrunning?
