I remember JTB mentioning and demonstrating how to avoid the Verdugo at the end of 4-1, but I can't find out how to replicate it. Help? Btw, I'm running the original GC version on console.
In all of my runs, live split never split the ending of the game semicolon I had to manually split it. Is there a completed file that splits it? And if not, should I split the timer manually at the moment I lose control for the final cinematic, or for the end of the cinematic, or...? If it's prevalent, I'm running Mediakite on a Windows 8.1 PC.
So I submitted a few runs, one of which was approved. I went to edit the description, not knowing that would require reverification (Sorry about that). Upon checking today to see if they'd all been verified, I saw that they'd all been rejected because the in-game timer couldn't be seen. Does the SRT module not show the correct in game time? I noticed that it showed a wildly inaccurate time at the end of the run, but I believed that up until that point it was fine. Is there an option or any way for me to resubmit these runs with a correct timing method?
EDIT: I decided to check some of the other uploaded streams, and saw runs without the Livesplit timer, along with runs without any timer at all. Is it that some ports don't need them, or something? Of the runs with the SRT, It appeared that they were using a different version than mine, which I got from the resource page here. Is there a problem with this version that requires an alternate IGT to verify it? If so, can I get the verified version? I apologise if I sound frustrated, I'm just completely confused, and want to sort this out so I can fix this for the future.
